ALOO KORMA


Ingredients:
½ lb Potatoes
1 Onion
3 Green chillies (optional)
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
1-2 tsp vegetable oil
1 cup Coconut milk
Handful Green peas
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Peel the skin and cut them into medium sized cubes.
2. Boil them in the water (for about 10 minutes) with a pinch of turmeric powder to the water. Add little salt towards the end of boiling.
3. Keep the boiled potatoes aside.
4. Sauté ginger-garlic paste (about 1 tsp) in vegetable oil or butter. Then add the onions and sauté them together till the onions turn brown.
5. Add the boiled potatoes to the onions and then let them cook for about 5 minutes in low heat.
6. Add one tin of coconut milk to the potatoes and cook for further 10 minutes.
7. Garnish with cut cilantro leaves.
